Founded by husband-and-wife duo Annette Nicole and James-Simon, OMAURA was born from a shared devotion to human potential and a desire to create skincare that honors the body’s deeper intelligence. Our journey inward revealed a truth: the body holds the power to heal—when we honor its wisdom. What was missing was skincare that honored that wisdom.

Annette’s journey began in 2006 during her Master’s studies in Esthetics, where she witnessed a gap between conventional skincare and the skin’s natural capacity to maintain vitality. Many formulas promised visible transformation while quietly disrupting long-term balance. Seeking a deeper understanding, she explored botanical science, integrative healing traditions, and cultivated intuitive wisdom — refining the belief that radiant, healthy skin emerges when the body’s systems are supported in alignment. Over time, her work with the skin became inseparable from this broader inquiry, shaping a formulation philosophy grounded in balance rather than force.
James-Simon’s path was shaped by early health challenges that revealed the limitations of conventional approaches. His exploration led him toward a more integrative and intuitive understanding of the body’s innate capacity to restore equilibrium. Through study and lived experience, he developed a systems-based perspective that informs OMAURA’s measured approach.
Together, their work is the result of years of refinement and deliberate practice — guided by science, shaped by nature, and grounded in intuition.

Formulated and crafted by hand in our Studio Lab in Phoenix, Arizona.
Working in small batches allows us complete oversight of sourcing, formulation, and quality. Within this space, small-batch alchemy unfolds — where careful formulation and measured intention transform raw botanicals into refined, functional compositions.
Each formulation is developed with measured precision, calibrated to support ingredient synergy and long-term skin vitality. Extended whole-plant infusions are developed in-house to preserve structural integrity, enhance botanical synergy, and reinforce the deeper coherence of each formulation.
