About the creators
Omaura is a husband and wife team, Annette + James-Simon. United with love, they both encompass a passion to create a sacred space of core healing and mind-body-soul alignment, helping to birth greater well-being and beauty.
Annette's journey into formulating skincare started in 2006, where she went to school for a masters in esthetics (the science of skin). Her goal was to acquire awareness and healing around her blemish-prone skin, and in so helping others. She invested much time and money on expensive products and procedures, leaving her and her clients with little to no results. On a quest to restore her faith, she was intuitively guided to take matters into her own hands and approach things differently. Through divine guidance, and with extensive research and discovery, not only did her skin fully heal and transform, but physical dis-ease she had became completely cured.
At an early age, James-Simon was met with trauma, which later led to physical imbalances that the medical field fell short with their abilities to resolve. Through his intuition, along with a unique blend of knowledge around holistic healing, his path became clear and wellness was restored.
Annette and James-Simon are both certified Reiki Masters, Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Master, and Holy Fire® Karuna Reiki® Master. They are certified Reiki teachers, and provide classes for these certifications as well. They are also certified in Magnified Healing, Qigong, and Remote Viewing. They find that intertwining these various healing modalities elevates their intuitive and healing gifts that they were naturally born with. Through experience and practice, they have expanded upon this by developing their own sacred healing techniques, known as Vibrational Healing Therapy™. They are also herbalists, alternative health and wellness practitioners of Sound (Hz Frequencies), Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field therapy, Polychromatic Light Therapy, Magnetism and Oxidative Therapy.
Throughout their own growing and healing experiences, they both developed a passion around human potential and various healing modalities for optimal beauty and well-being, and in this birthed Omaura.
OUR HOME
Our headquarters + studio-lab dwells within the heart of Salt Lake City, Utah. Home of the majestic Rocky Mountains and the beautiful Salt Flats.
We started Omaura back in 2018, in Des Moines, Iowa, where we started selling our products at the local farmers markets and expos across the midwest. Since the beginning we have been blessed with incredible support from our loving customers, which helped made Omaura into what it is today. We made the transition to Utah in 2023. Going from two different climate extremities of humidity to dry, really helped us perfect our formulations for all weather conditions, working incredibly well in any environment.
Our home is where the heart is, and home to us is found within the inner-connectedness of love that stems from our hearts to yours.
